four samplers will be released for free digital download and possible vinyl pressing.
suggested donation per copy on vinyl will be $5 dollars to cover costs so we can reach a goal of 250 press... if donations become investments when the 250 press goal is passed before six months time a one month until pressing notice will be issued for the initial investors where they can get more for their money by upping donations and a pre-sale will go into effect for those that missed deadline which will go towards shipping an equal amount to the musicians who participated... you will receive your donations worth in vinyl which could be up to three for your five if you pay the extra shipping cost to send more or you may lose a copy to cover the extra shipping costs... if this doesn't make sense to you... always feel free to ask questions... you may also make a twenty dollar donation towards all four samplers but let us know in advance so we don't ship you four or more of the same one... you can also choose for leftover money if anything goes to larger press to go towards other releases instead of getting extra copies and we will sell the records at local shops at cost plus a dollar for the store... notify us if you do want this option when it goes to press... all donations will be taken through porkrecords.bandcamp.com when the sampler is completed and for up to six months following when track listing in finalized starting may 15th or sooner.

all samplers are non-profit and pressed and printed on recycled materials and shipped in recycled bubble wrap and cardboard packaging if it is available... which is almost always piled up and on hand. the five dollar donation suggestion to get a copy will barely cover the pressing costs and packaging which will be done by volunteers in their spare time... the more you donate the more you get... and if it reaches beyond goal all packaging will be professionally printed instead of screened and save volunteers a shitload of hard work... we do prefer the d.i.y. packaging though because the effort is a more rewarding and fulfilling experience.

if you would like to submit an unreleased on a major pressing song for consideration to be on the next sampler there are still five unreserved spots left.
make a bandcamp and upload a master and send me a link in a message and not as a check me out comment.
songs should be up to five minutes max.
if you don't want a bandcamp... upload a lossless (.wav) file of the master to a file sharing service like mediafire and send me a link in a message... but bandcamp is best so you can also collect donations for your own copies of the sampler and from friends if they want one.
for the spring one you've got until april 30th, 2010.

we are also looking for a design and a title that can be screen printed or stencil airbrushed easily... we are also looking for a version of the same design that can be full-color printed.

if no other titles are suggested the sampler title will be... april may, but june definitely won't work. and i'll come up with a design... but i'd rather other artists do it... if you want to help screen print and are nearby locally when it goes to press... let us know... if you have old unwanted 12" covers for vinyl laying around that are in a healthy condition that can be turned inside out and re-assembled after screening and are local... set up a time to drop them off.. they're too expensive to ship.
